Save money – and protect the environment
Everyone talks about climate protection – we do something about it
We want to show you exactly what protecting the climate really can bring you, in your home and with your heating. It’s the people who take action who save money right away – and profit in the long term too. We’re pleased to provide you with a general introduction to our windows on the pages that follow.
Gas, fuel oil, electricity, pellets – they’re all getting dearer, all the time. The upwards spiral is getting faster and faster; 75% of the energy in the home goes on heating. We can help you save energy – and save the environment at the same time. It makes sense to improve the energy flow in a building rather than making unnecessary investments in energy sources like heaters. If you’re giving your building a complete makeover, you can use the right heating systems, and design them with maximum efficiency. And above all, you need to think carefully about an investment that’s going to last you for at least the next 30 years.
The average single-family home has an average of 30 square metres of window space. If you replace your windows, you can cut your heating costs. Take a look at the table below for an idea of how much you could save:

Uw value of your present windows
(example) |
Uprating your windows with the eco 8000 passive system, with a Uw value of about 0.8 W/m2 in accordance with DIN EN ISO 10077-1* |
With single glazing up to year
of construction 1978 |
Uw value > 4.6 W/m2 |
you save about EUR 1,368 per year |
With insulating glass up to year
of construction 1978 |
Uw value = 2.6 W/m2 |
you save about EUR 648 per year |
With thermally-insulating glass
up to year of construction 1995 |
Uw value = 1.8 W/m2 |
you save about EUR 360 per year |
* Savings, for example, on the assumption of 30 m2 of window area and a fuel oil price of EUR 1.- consumption per m2 of window = about 9.6 litres of fuel oil per year.
The eco 8000 passive window range costs about 45% more than the present standard system, the eco 4000 AD. If we assume costs for windows of about EUR 5,000 (excluding installation and without, for example, roller blinds), the extra comes to about EUR 2,250. Taking our example, the additional investment will have paid for itself in as little as six years (with simple insulating glass). That’s why we recommend our eco 8000 passive window system. Absolute innovation – with the right fittings and long-lasting adhesive technology. It’s a must for everyone who thinks about the future.
And when it comes to ventilation, soundproofing, protection against break-in, and the design of the doors in the home, there’s nothing to beat our products. We hold the RAL certification for manufacture, and we are certified to DIN-ISO 9001. And it goes without saying that we carry the CE marking too. All new white profiles are made of lead-free environmentally-friendly materials – we’re leaders in that field too.
